Bioyuusuke "bossun" fujisaki of sket dance The self-proclaimed main character, BOSSUN is the founder and leader of the Campus Support Group also known as the Sket-Dan. It's a group dedicated to giving the students of Kaimei High School a "peaceful and happy school life!!!" by fulfilling whatever request their student clients ask of them, solving problems and minor school mysteries to handling more personal requests. Unfortunately with a lackadaisical teacher for a supervisor, an excitable club chief (Bossun himself), a former 'yankee' as a vice chief (Himeko, the legendary Onihime) and an eccentric but surprisingly popular otaku for a secretary (Switch who speaks through a voice synthesis software on his omnipresent laptop), the Sket Dan doesn't have the best reputation in the school. Try as Bossun might, he can't recruit anyone to join and they get the weirdest requests. However whether it be babysitting a monkey, training a samurai, finding an unknown prince for a pure-hearted maiden or even standing in as a classmate on a meet up with said classmate's email pal, Bossun can never turn a request down. Which is why the Sket Dan is perceived as the errand boys or handymen of the school and they're generally looked down on by both the faculty and the student council. This eventually leads to a friction-laden rivalry between the student council and the Sket Dan led by the VP Tsubaki Sasuke (who considers the Sket Dan a useless waste of building space and resources) and Bossun (who is kind of ticked off that the student council is getting attention that he thinks the Sket Dan deserves as well). Having already had to deal with a challenge by the student council to retain their right to exist as a club, it may seem like the Sket Dan is mostly unappreciated. But through Bossun's and the rest of the Sket Dan's effort to fully satisfy their clients' requests no matter how odd, they've made their own allies who help them through whatever cases they deal with.
